Forging is a precision metal shaping process in which a heated workpiece is deformed using compressive forces to achieve the desired shape and mechanical properties. At SK Forgings, we specialize in open die forging, closed die forging, and ring rolling since 2021.
SK Industries, our wholly-owned subsidiary, is dedicated to precision machining operations. Equipped with advanced CNC, VMC, and VTL machinery, SK Industries ensures that forged components are machined to exacting customer specifications, supporting industries such as automotive, valve, oil & gas, and general engineering.
Open die forging involves working the material between flat or contoured dies to gradually achieve the final shape, ideal for large or custom-shaped parts. Closed die forging uses impression dies that completely enclose the workpiece, producing components with high dimensional accuracy and repeatability. Ring rolling is employed to produce seamless rolled rings with superior grain flow, structural integrity, and efficiency.
